1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for most vintage items. To qualify:

  • Items must be in original received condition
  • All authenticity tags must remain attached
  • Original packaging must be intact
  • Must include certificate of authenticity

2. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned:

  • Final sale “as-is” collector pieces
  • Custom altered or tailored items
  • Fragile 1950s-1960s delicate fabrics
  • Special exhibition collection pieces
  • Items marked “Archive” or “Museum Quality”

3. Return Process
Step-by-step procedure:

  1. Request return authorization via your account
  2. Receive vintage preservation packing instructions
  3. Use provided acid-free tissue paper
  4. Ship with our specialty vintage return label
  5. Include completed condition report form

4. Refund Processing

  • Allow 7-10 business days for quality inspection
  • Refund issued to original payment method
  • Original $9.95 authentication fee non-refundable
  • International duties/taxes not reimbursed

5. Exchange Policy
Exchanges available for:

  • Size discrepancies (pre-approval required)
  • Condition misrepresentation
  • Era misidentification
    Note: Alternate item subject to availability

6. Damaged Items
For transit damage:

  • Notify us within 24 hours with photos
  • Include carrier damage report
  • We arrange professional restoration or full refund

7. Vintage Authentication
If authenticity questioned:

  • Provide 3 independent appraisals
  • We cover return shipping if verified replica
  • Full refund plus authentication fee returned

8. Special Care Returns
For delicate vintage:

  • Use provided archival garment bag
  • Do not fold – roll with tissue
  • Mark package “Fragile Textile”
  • Climate-controlled shipping required

9. International Returns
Additional requirements:

  • Customs declaration as “Returned Vintage Goods”
  • Maximum declared value $50
  • Customer responsible for return shipping
  • Recommended: Purchase return insurance

10. Store Credit Option
Instead of refund:

  • Receive 115% credit for future purchases
  • Valid for 3 years
  • Applicable to all collections

11. Restocking Fee

  • 10% for premium vintage (pre-1970)
  • 5% for contemporary vintage (post-1970)
  • Waived for exchange orders

12. Quality Assurance
All returns undergo:

  • Textile conservation review
  • Era verification check
  • Professional steaming process
  • Archive documentation update

13. Holiday Policy
Extended return window:

  • Purchases November 15-December 25
  • Return by January 10
  • Excludes final sale items

14. Consignment Returns
For consigned items:
